This 60,000SF facility accommodates 62 beds within four neighborhood communities. Each neighborhood is self-sufficient with living, dining, and nursing functions. The neighborhoods are arranged around courtyards in order to shorten corridor lengths and maximize the amount of daylight illuminating the interior. The Rehabilitation Center will be used by residents and outpatients. The facility is conceived to serve patients for shorter terms. It targets people of all ages who have physical rehabilitation needs that can’t easily be met at home, such as persons who are recovering from surgery.
