Saint Louis Science Center Life Science Lab

The Life Science Lab is a working laboratory within the Saint Louis Science Center where visitors can engage directly in authentic learning and investigation. HKW Architects worked closely with the Life Science team from the Science Center as well as with technology and accessibility consultants to develop an innovative way to shape the visitor experience.
The Lab consists of an Activity Area for self-guided experiments, a Lab Classroom for group sessions, a Preparation Lab for staging activities and visiting Scientists, and an Entrance area for introducing areas of current Life Science study.
